Nordic Pure manufactures 20x20x1 Air Filters for your HVAC system. All of our air filters are pleated. By pleating our air filters, the filters are able to cover a greater surface area. Our MERV 12, electrostatic-charged media, pleated design air filters are effective 97.8 % on 3 – 10 micron airborne particles. A MERV 12 rating represents the best balance between airborne particulate removal of dust, pollen, airborne pathogens, etc. and overall HVAC system efficiency.
Our air filters do not allow the growth of mold or bacteria, keeping your home healthier. No harsh chemicals are necessary to make the air conditioner filter "antibacterial". Our air conditioner filters use permanently charged electrostatic material that helps dust cling to the air conditioner filter. On the other hand, filtration for fine fiber media such as fiberglass is greatest with larger airborne particulate and virtually non-existent with smaller airborne particulate.
Nordic Pure’s air filters allow those trapped mold spores or bacteria. This means cleaner air for you and your family. It’s our MERV 12, electrostatically charged, pleated synthetic media that causes the dust and other air borne irritants to be drawn to the filter and kept there until you change the filter.

Nordic Pure recommends you replace your air filters every every 60 to 90 days, so your HVAC unit runs efficiently.
